# "Processed" cheese

Last night as I made a grilled cheese sandwich with the ol’ standy, Kraft processed cheese, a thought struck me: what is this stuff, anyway?
To what does the term “processed” refer and is it as bad as I think it sounds?

I’m not sure what’s in the stuff (I think it is milk and oil), but I do know that it is not a slice of cheese. I think they put a blob on the plastic then form it into a square. When you think about it, they really don’t taste like cheese.
I guess what you really had was a Grilled “slice shaped cheese food” Sandwich

all I know about it is that when my former roomie made grilled “cheese” sandwhiches from it, it smelled like cat food. Cheap, bad, sat in the bowl too long cat food.

CMRS, remember that while the cheese may not be the finest, it is one of the cheapest… leaving lots of monet left over for massage.
Now, if they could only learn how to create processed massage that would be affordable to all…

I guess, istead of saying ‘artificial’ cheese, Kraft said ‘processed’. It is not cheese and could be called ‘mixed’ cheese or ‘fancy’ cheese. It looks and tastes like an artificial product. I guess it cannot be made in big pieces, and then cut, like real cheese. I know, it cannot taste remotely close.

I refuse to touch “cheese process products”. They are an abomination.
