I doubt any of you actually have “Waste time on the SDMB” written in your Day Planner. So, what productive activity are you supposed to be engaged in at the moment? Me, I have to write a personal statement for an application due in twelve hours. ---

I have to have a 2 CD’s done within 2 months. On the first CD I’ve only got 4 of the 10 songs totally finished. On the second CD I’ve got two more songs to go -they are written but not recorded. I did manage to complete the music for the 5th song on the 1st CD tonight, but the vocals aren’t done yet. That’s at least another day. I slacked it off last night and most of tonight. Both nights I was listening to some goofy internet radio show I like. I’m not really procrastinating, I’m just not in a very musical mood right now. I’m just f\*cking off until it kicks in. 🙂 ---

I’m two to three weeks overdue with two essays. I’m about a month overdue with a council tax form. I should also be writing the Greatest Novel of the Twenty-First Century, finding out whether my e-mail address has been compromised, tidying this pigsty of a house, ordering a TV lead and a Firewire lead for my mum’s video camera, and designing the best Operation Flashpoint level known to man. Scrolling through logs, looking for stack traces, identifying the bugs, reproducing them if necessary, filing tickets. Following up on fixed tickets, verifying the fix was made, and if I’m motivated, offering suggestions back to the developer as to how to make the fix more elegant. Or more obfuscated, if I’m really motivated. ---
