Until about 20 years ago I used to mostly drink Molson’s beer. Then they had a commercial about a poor immigrant woman cleaning toilets that was so disrespectful and obnoxious that I stopped buy Molson on the spot. I can no longer recall what that commercial had to do with beer anyway, but the stench from the commercial has lasted a couple decades. ---

Cars4Kids will never, ever get a donation from me. First of all, I don’t even know what the charity supports, other than kids, because I immediately change the station as soon as the obnoxious ad starts, so I’ve never heard it all the way to the end. Second, I don’'t remember the area code to make the call, and I’m not about to replay the jingle in my head to remember and … oh shit… it’s stuck in my head again… God damn it !! :mad::mad: ---

Bell and Howell lighting commercials. “Are you a f\*cking idiot who can’t replace batteries in a flashlight, are you so stupid you keep driving over your flashlights? Here is the Atomic Q-36 Explosive Illuminator with Tactical Bottle Opener! Only 3 times what you pay at a hardware store!” ---

Majority of the proceeds do not even go to help all kids of all backgrounds, apparently to a group called “oorah” which connects only jewish children with their heritage. There is of course nothing wrong with this, but it is misleading as to where the funds are going (i.e; only specific charities). ---

I hate that ad and that stupid jingle. Also, it’s “Kars4Kids.” Which hits two of my irrational peeves: using "K"s for "C"s, and using numbers for words (yes, I hate text-speak). So those kids are not getting my kar…er…car. Ever. ---

I wouldn’t buy any products or services that spokespeople yelling at you (Arbys, Carmax or other fast food places). Also, ones with annoying rap music (several candy commercials). I usually have to mute them quickly or ffwd the DVR. ---

For me any commercial that uses 1980’s music to make household chores to make housework “cool” makes me feel old, and making me feel old doesn’t sell me cool new cleaning technology. Devo’s Swiffer ad, some other ad “Blinding Me with Science” etc. About 5 years ago was peak 80’s music on tv, I guess I’m now too old to be a target market. I agree about the bears too. My ex used to say “I am tired of all the sh_t commercials on t.v. Either they help you shi_t, help you not sh_t or help you clean up sh_t.” ---
