OK, lets assume for a moment that I have the world’s most complete CD collection, because I would NEVER download content from a file sharing service. With that aside, what 3 songs would you HAVE to HAVE if you were driving across country alone? I know there are a few out there who will try to be eclectic for the sake of being eclectic, but really, help me out here. (no offense to the naturally eclectic) I am stumped and have several Gigs left on the ol’ MP3 player. Give me a few songs that really mooooove you… Be forewarned that I will wish a pox upon the home of anyone who lists anything by anyone named Avril, Justin or Brittany, or any artist whose name is a color. Other than that, I am open to suggestions! ;j (unsolicited happy orthodox jewish smiley) ---

**newcrasher** …“Life Is A Highway” is Tom Cochrane, and if “Evangeline” and “Girlfriend” are from the same album, it’s probably Matthew Sweet. Now, my three picks, road-tested in advance for your consideration: “Portobello Belle” by Dire Straits (from _Communique_) “Only The Lonely” by Frank Sinatra (from _Only The Lonely_) “World Party” by the Waterboys (from _Fisherman’s Blues_) The first two are especially good for late-night driving on a four-lane highway, which is when they hooked in for me. Um…what \*\* peritrochoid\*\* said. ---

**Three songs???** What kind of lame-ass MP3 player only holds _three songs???_ You might as well try to hold a “World’s best Television” festival and limit it to four ten-minute clips. ---
