Anyone know of the program you can download to give you the information on the site you are visiting? It returns details like where the site is based, hosted on, etc.
It’s on the tip of my tongue.

Did you mean information on who owns the domain? You can get that via [http://rs.internic.net/whois.html](http://rs.internic.net/whois.html) for .com or [http://www.nominet.net/](http://www.nominet.net/) for .co.uk addresses. [urlhttp://www.samspade.org/ also has a lot of net tools for that kind of thing.
Sorry, I don’t actually know the names of any specific software other than **NeoTrace** , which I never found that useful.

No, this is something that appears as a tool bar. I think it starts with an “A” or an “O”. It will give you information on who owns the site plus stats and related sites.
