I’m not seeing the OP as an attack on liberals in particulars as opposed to everyone who questions his favoured flavour of pseudoscience.
Replace “liberals” with “sheeple” or “Pharma shill” in your post above and I would agree with your post 100%.

Haven’t payed a lot of attention to **Vicsage** , but s/he comes across as a person of marginal intelligence and low attention span who thinks they’re a lot smarter than they are. Constant frustration with people telling them things they aren’t capable of paying attention to and don’t know very much about, but are convinced they’re right. BECAUSE.
As demonstrated early on with the “what are you talking about?” “typical response!” nonsense at the beginning of the thread. Too easily frustrated and short attention span to actually tell people what the fuck s/he is talking about and quick to show it by blaming others.

So far that’s been the theme of this whole thread, along with (b) the OP (the post) is appallingly stupid and makes no sense, and (c) the OP (the poster) is an imbecile of astonishing ineptitude in communicating any sort of idea or concept.
So it hasn’t really been going all that well for the OP (the poster). I think it’s perfectly fine to blame the messenger when you can’t figure out what the fuck the messenger is saying, since delivering a message is kind of like, his job.

Well, why is it that there’s less abuse of alcohol than there was prior to Prohibition? They’re doin’ something right.
Could you explain what your actual point it? Just get to it. Yes, people die because of alcohol. So are you arguing for a return of Prohibition, or are you arguing something else?

Most of the rest of the posters continue to attack my motivations, because when stats don’t work for them, that’s all they have left. And the Barbarian realized that it is a problem and wanted to address it by fixing the social problems that cause it. Its not just the working class, though. Lot of rich well-off peple drink heavy, so while fixing social problems may help, people will still die.

I’ve been down this road before. A facebook friend of a friend was incapable of making any argument that wasn’t totally incoherent. He would declare himself winning because ‘‘nobody can rebut my argument’’, and no amount of explaining to him that _we didn’t even understand the argument he was trying to make_ made any difference.

Look, **Vicsage** or whatever you name is, drinking and driving is illegal. For a reason. Explicitly, drinking and driving is typically not a victimless crime. It effects me, my family, my friends. I have had friends die from drunk drivers.
Now if you or **Gigobuster** or **Vinyl Turnip** wants to sit at home and drink yourself to death, I really don’t care. I mean it is sad that people do this, but you (I assume) are wearing big girl panties and can make your own decisions\*. I see no reason to ram my moral judgement down your throat.
Finally, if you want to send your precious snowflake to my children’s school, I think it is fair of me to require that your precious snowflake is vaccinated against the more dangerous, contagious, or common diseases. Just like I think it is fair of you to require that my kid leaves her [Wasp injection knife](http://waspinjection.com/) in the car before attending English class with your kid. Its all about mitigation of risk to me and mine and you and yours. Now if you want to home school your precious snowflake so that he/she can’t infect my perfect children with his/her disgusting/filthy diseases than run rampant in your sickly household, it’s all good. Go ahead and neglect their health. But if you want to put my children and my neighbors children at risk, then you better suck it up and realize that their is a social contract that needs signing.
