From Tim Gunn’s Bravo blog:

> Kenley WINS! I’m happy for her, but I’m still scratching my head over her design. The judges described her look as “Ungaro meets Lacroix” and they were right, but is that a good thing? The silhouette channeled Ungaro, while the textiles – a riotous green print and strawberry-to-grape ombred tulle – evoked Lacroix. I thought it looked very costumey, too costumey, and even Sandra Bernhard stated, “I have difficulties with this look. I don’t get it.” Admittedly, this look isn’t for everyone!

So, not dismissive, but not really a huge fan, either.

He’s very candid about all the designs (most of which he didn’t care for much), but Leanne’s was unquestionably his favorite.

Oh, and SB definitely looked like she’d had some (sub-par) work done on her face. Eech.

> So the winner was Kenley. Her dress had such a sense of joy and spirit with the surprise of asymmetry on one hip handled beautifully and a bold use of print in color. Her finishing is meticulous and I love the covered bodice and sleeve to balance out the short flirty hemline.

My take on Kenley’s dress is the same as Tim’s–I kinda, sorta get where the judges were coming from but didn’t think it was a winner.

I hated the tree grate outfit last night–boring, boring, boring–but when I just saw the picture of it on Bravo, I totally see where everyone is coming from–really, really good.

As for Emily or Jennifer? I don’t know–they both sucked but probably Jennifer should have gone, because the dress hiding under the ruffles was good.
