I was flipping through the program guide tonight and discovered that the next season of Project Runway starts tonight. There are two shows tonight - the first is a “behind the selection” sort of thing at 8 PM, Eastern, followed by the first actual episode at 9:00. Oh yeah, it’s on Lifetime. ---

Glad it’s back on, I’ve been watching the reruns on LIfetime, they seem stuck on S1-3. So already they aufed 4 designers, I’m bummed about Serena, wonder why they kicked her off from the get go. So far I like Danielle, Bert, Becky, Julie… But the GD commercials are killing me. ---

I would have loved to see some crash-and-burn auditions, a la American Idol auditions. But as much as I hated the last season finale, I’m in it for the long haul. ---

(this isn’t meant as a brag, honest). I got a new LCD TV this year, and boy!, does it make a difference in Project Runway. I can now see the mistakes that the judges are talking about! Headscarf guy’s top had threads hanging off of it, the scissor-work was edged and fraying, and the seams were awful. It makes a huge difference in being able to see clearly all the flaws. ---

The biggest shame about his early aufage is the loss of that name. I was annoyed by his RuPaul Drag Race hair. “Your model’s gonna wear your nut juice” is a new highlight for PR. ---

The whole first half-hour of the main show just annoyed the piss out of me. We just had a whole flippin’ hour special on the casting process–do we really need to see another 30 minutes of the casting process? Really? And was I the only one who thought the beauty queen’s pants were just awful? All wrinkly and mussed and with that _pouch_ in the front? ---

Sure, “nut juice” is good, but how about Michael Kors acting out the “I like me” pocket? That there was comedy gold. I enjoyed the first half hour just to see Heidi be goofy. ---

The right person won, the right person went home. I predict it is going to be a great season. I like Heidi’s hair a lot better this season, she just didn’t look right with a heavy bang. ---

I can’t believe the guy with the blue tissue dress didn’t go home, that was some serious ugly! But the other guy did badly two weeks in a row, so I guess I can understand why they had to get rid of him. Loved the fish rock blue, green and purple top! And the bird seed dress totally should have won! ---
