I saw that goat on the news! The article doesn’t have a picture, but it is as distinctive as they say - stark white and well defined against black fur. ---

I don’t want to crap on your thread, but the idea of God paying tribute to a human seems … I don’t want to use the word _sacrilegious_, but it seems to be the only one that springs to mind. FWIW, my dad was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan and would have loved this news. But I think even he would have seen it for the possible-hoax, probable-freak-occurence that it is. ---

I hate to be the one to say it, but I’m going to, 'cause I’m just in one of those moods. People are crazy. So it looks like a three on the side of this goat. Even if there _is_ some divine reason for it, what makes people think it’s 'cause of Dale Earnhardt? Maybe it’s for the Three Stooges. Maybe it’s because three is a magic number (as Schoolhouse Rocks has told us). Maybe it’s even representative of the _Holy Trinity_! I mean, goodness gracious people, three is just a number, and it shows up all over the place! ---

Looks like Mother Nature beat God to the punch with the [Butterfly Alphabet](http://www.butterflyalphabet.com/), and even got the color scheme correct - red, black and white. Okay, the number isn’t angled, so just tilt your monitor. ---

Saw this one on the _Obscure Store and Reading Room_ site where it links to an article that does have a photo. It’s a pretty ragged looking 3. The scary thing is the number of people who have made the pilgrimage to see this critter - and stood there with tears in their eyes. How empty their lives must be! As a Dale Earnhardt fan, I’d probably have given it the same name if it were my goat. It’s cute. Dale certainly was a great driver and exciting to watch when he was really dialed in. But geeeeezzz, don’t these folks have something more important to do than go visit a goat??? On the other hand, you’ve got to give credit to the animal’s owner for seeing the potential and taking advantage of this cash cow/goat while the gettin’s good. ---

What they don’t mention in the article is that “Lil’ Dale” likes to run laps around the yard- at around 200mph. Pretty durn impressive evidence, to me. ---
