Google is _not_ my friend today.

Can anyone help me find the following?:
[ul]
[li]What are the technical standards for propane tank fittings in the USA? For both standard, 20 lb. tanks as well as for the torch/camping bottles (I think they’re the same, but I’m not home to be able to check). Google keeps showing fittings that work, but with no specification data.[/li][li]What are the specifications for the same in China?[/li][li]Any idea where I can order an adapter (or the fittings to build an adapter) in order to connect a USA propane device (e.g., a grill) to a Chinese propane tank?[/li][/ul]

It’s enough trouble to find the information here, let alone trying to figure out how to do it in a country where I don’t speak the language!

I googled _propane thread size_ and found these:

1"-20 thread mentioned [here](http://www.spiritburner.com/fusion/showtopic.php?fid/403/tid/18649/fbb_session_id/6d88561553c08c37780933810c2c61b9/).

A number of details to sort through [here](http://www.bestmaterials.com/PDF_Files/propane-fitting-threads.pdf).

Probably more there if you want to search for it.
