The more you use them the easier they’re get. Spend one night in front of the TV opening and closing them, after oiling and they’re operate a lot easier.

Seconding this. When I bought my first Leatherman, I didn’t know that the less expensive models had no locks. I refuse to use the knife blade with that model.
