# Prophecies on Armegeddon

I have been wondering lately how soon a prophecy is predicting a coming armegeddon. Basically what I am asking is: What is the latest prediction on the end of the world and how soon is this coming armegeddon supossedly going to take place? If there is a prediction stating this armegeddon is going to take place within the next five to ten years, how is it expected to occur? I am not at all one who believes in these accusations, but find them pretty interesting nonetheless. If you have heard of any, and would be willing to share them, I would be very appreciative. Thanks.

I know of an [interesting site](http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrld.htm) that catalogs end-of-the-world predictions. It is quite thorough, so bring your reading glasses. Start [here](http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl2.htm) for prophecies prior to 1998, then go [here](http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl4.htm) to read about the ones from 1998 to the present, and finally [this](http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl1.htm) speaks about the soon to be failed predictions for the future. I find this topic enjoyable also, so I hope you deem this useful.

i remeber in the 80s and in the ninties they used ot have this tv show called the world tomorrow …
it was basically the old bibilicial armageddon prophecy but used recent events to point out how it was coming true and also served it was also a infomercial to buy their tapes and books ect and almost seemed to be the save thing every week
anyone else remeber this ?

I watched a special on TLC a few weeks ago about Armagedden and one of the dates was December 27,2012. It was predicted that technology would become mans enemy. They even showed a “reanactment” that looked like a deleted scene from Steven King’s Maximum Overdrive complete with killer food processers,homicidal Christmas trees,and a jumping waffel iron. It was freakin hillarious!😃

If you’re talking about the same “World Tomorrow” that I know of, it was a show produced by the World Wide Church of God, a facist, screwed up church founded by Herbert W. Armstrong. The WWCG doctrin was that of “British Isrealism”. Heres a site that reveals how this church hurt a lot of people:
