He got it when he apologized in the thread, _not_ after your “correction”. He didn’t need you to “guide him”. Speaking of, and back on topic, I realize that none of you know me from Adam, and I don’t have any cites that I care to provide, but giving Moderators a secret Mod-name has never, _in my experience_, worked very well. _Nightmare_ would be the term I’d use. ---

I’m convinced that, if nothing else, the effort to implement mod-only screen names plus the risk of nightmare together outweigh the benefits - which benefits are being pursued without additional language-limiting rules. As for the suggestion, consider it withdrawn - with this passing commentary: my replies to comments about the suggestion were more testing the objection than advocacy. If it came across as a campaign, i.e. I would be unhappy if the suggestion were not implemented, the fault for that is mine.
