# Proposing a Murphy-ishous law

I’d like to propose the following law of the Internet:

Call it “Chapman’s Law of Ease of Use”:

“The longer a company’s site has been down, the easier it is to get someone from that company on the phone.”

The piece of paper you need to refernece is 6 inches farther than the phone cord of your desk will reach.

The Shirley Ujest Law ( well, it’s more like a Commandment around these parts: All Flat Surfaces Must Be Covered With Papers and Stuff.

Plant and you plant together, Weed and you weed alone.

( I swiped that last one from someone on board here. Can’t remember who, but I recite it every time I am at the plant store.)
