I saw something similar to this happen in the movie “Munich”. It didn’t turn out well for anyone involved, so be glad you didn’t go with her. And that you’re not part of an Isreali hit squad. ---

I would reckon that she and her pals had been eyeing you up and discussing your potential while you were scarfing. I would also reckon that she knew your waitress quite well, and that she had worked there in the past - or maybe somewhere similar. It did not sound like a prostitute pickup, wrong type of venue for a start, and giving a 'phone number to a punter when he is sitting there makes no sense. A group of guys will eye up a lone lass, one will then make an approach, after being psyched up - and I would guess that she did not notice your wedding ring. It was a dare - but you could have got lucky. ---
