[Jeff Sessions Considers Justice Department Investigation of Clinton Foundation, Russian Uranium Deal](https://www.yahoo.com/news/jeff-sessions-considers-justice-department-123839469.html)

> Attorney General Jeff Sessions is leaving open the possibility that a special counsel could be appointed to look into Clinton Foundation dealings and an Obama-era uranium deal, the Justice Department said Monday in responding to concerns from Republican lawmakers.

Chris Matthews was pimping his new book\* on NPR today, and I was surprised to hear him being somewhat sympathetic to an investigation, although I think he was more geared towards how it related to donations to the Clinton Foundation.

\*I didn’t hear the whole thing, but I guess he has a new book out about The Kennedys.

I think we need a permanent cabinet post, with a Department — maybe call it the _ **D** _epartment for _ **I** _nvestigating and _ **T** _ormenting _ **C** _linton _ **H** _illary. Their motto could be D.I.T.C.H. the WITCH. They’d better hurry: has Vince Foster’s corpse even been exhumed yet?

> Wow. I used to draw charts and even lay-out PC boards (to minimize crossovers etc.). Whoever laid that chart out could definitely NOT work as a layout artist; I think most 7th-graders could do better.

I think “layout obfuscation” is a feature, not a bug in this chart. In that regards, the artist did a masterful job.

More fake news - Mr Gohmert is not a Senator. What else are you attempting to hide, sir? I think a special prosecutor may be called for here!

> The GOP’s problem with regular prosecutors is that they didn’t convict Hillary of anything.

Yup. Their problem is that prosecutors will only prosecute if there is evidence of a crime. They want prosecutors to prosecute based on conspiracy theories and tribal hatred of the other. In their ideal world, the judiciary would be a tool they use to terrorize and persecute their political opponents.

Even Jeff Sessions said there wasn’t enough evidence to justify a special prosecutor for the Clintons.

>
> “‘Looks like’ is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel,” Sessions responded.

I think there is some doubt he is even a human. I’m told he sent his sample in to 23andme, but they sent him a message back asking for the rest of his DNA.\*

\*(Yes, yes, I know, chimpanzees, hermit crabs, and potatoes, have more chromosomes than humans. But as a joke, it basically works.)

> This is something I’ve been wondering for a while. If Hillary’s violated Federal laws in ways that rate an indictment, what’s the GOP’s problem with the regular U.S. attorneys in the relevant geographic jurisdictions?

Are there Federal attorneys in relevant geographical jurisdictions?

There are Federal attorney’s responsible for all US territory. Well, I don’t know about the actual (non-state) territories, but I’m pretty sure for them, also.
