You know, we’re always being told by the Powers That Be that downloading music and/or movies will bring on the end of the music and movie businesses as we know them. However, people download a lot of porn, and we never hear about how the porn industry is suffering. One can only assume that the same is true. Thus, if you really want to support PfPW and do your part to bring the porn industry to its knees\*, the best thing you can do is…download some porn! (fires up Kazaa, hums “God Bless America”) Dr. J - heh heh ---

Firstly, because someone who butchers other human beings as a hobby is probably not going to be shy about lying blatantly, especially if there’s the remotest chance his lies could keep him out of the chair. Secondly, even if _he_ honestly believed porn made him into a serial killer, he’s still, y’know, completely bat-shit fucking crazy. Serial killers blame their crimes on all sorts of things. The Bible, for instance. Or black people. Or their neighbor’s dog. Bundy found an excuse that happened to mesh well with the agendas of certain “morality watchdog” organizations. That these organizations were willing to use Bundy as a mouthpiece for their claims says more about the organizations than the target of their crusade, IMO. ---

He also didn’t bring this subject up in the pre-trial interviews or anytime throughout the trial. This subject came up after he was handed two death verdicts, and only a few hours before they carried the execution. I know many people felt he was just pulling chains about porn causing his problems -a way to continue to fuck with society after he’s gone or perhaps to have a stay for people to “study” him. The guy was a liar and killer. He worked with Seattle Crime Prevention and wrote a rape prevention pamphlet. IMO, his porn=rape is a bold face lie meant to fuel anti-porn movements. Bundy is laughing ---

Hmmm, this is kinda daunting in conjunction with the attacks on sex ed groups that don’t toe the abstinence-only line by the Bush admin. I’m thinking that this is all aimed at 2004. With the economy still in “jobless” mode and the occupation of Iraq going rather badly, the Bush team is shoring up their support with Joe Sixpack by going aftre godless porno fiends and weirdo sex educators. If an attack on porn can get a few Joe Sixpacks to forget that they don’t have jobs, or that a lot of their buddies don’t have jobs, it will all have been worth it. ---

I believe the phrase that really gets me is “The effects of pornography are particularly pernicious with respect to children.” No, you git, childen being involved in porngraphy is not _particularly pernicious_ it’s **incredably evil**.
