Hmmm…the first White House reaction I heard was Bush’s veto threat, _followed by_ his saying he’d known nothing about it until then.

Dunno why who hasn’t made hay of what; the media have their heads up their asses, and I don’t always have even a good guess as to why it is this time.

It was a simple business deal, between a company in Dubai and a company in the UK. All the US had to do was make sure the buying company had a history of cooperation with the US.  
Which it did and does. End of story. What other bullshit you wanna come up with?
