# Prozac And Anorgasmia In Women?

Does Prozac and Prozac-like drugs cause lack of orgasm in women? I know it definitely does in men. But I’ve honestly never heard anything about it in women. Do women’s orgasms work on a different principle? You will note IANADoctor.

Yeah, my father was diagnosed bipolar later in life. And he took antipsychotic and antidepressant medication for it. Those things are literally a life saver for those who need it and a Godsent. But they have some pretty nasty side effects, especially the antipsychotics.

Yes, most of the SSRI antidepressants can cause decreased libido, difficulty reaching orgasm, or anorgasmia in women.
