I just renewed as well. I’m doing one year at a time, just because I always wonder if someone from the powers that be decides to shut down the board with no warning. ---

Thanks, **hajaro**. Huh, just checked and my expiration date is _5/20_. How the heck did that happen? Not complaining, but generally, “forethought” and “planning ahead” are not among my most noteworthy traits! ---

As mentioned earlier, You sometimes have to hunt around in the PayPal site to find the credit card option, depending on your browser. ---

I still had a year to go but I decided to add two more and since I’m back in the gym and out riding the handcycle again, I revived my custom title. ---

The “Custom Title Charter Subscription” would just be if I wanted a _different_ title than “Charter Member”, right? I don’t need to pay extra to make it keep saying “Charter Member”, do I? In other words, I know I need to renew the “Charter Membership”, but there’s a second field, “Custom Title Charter Subscription”, that may have been there when I re-upped 2 years ago, but if so I don’t remember it. ---

No, you do not need to pay extra for the Charter Member title. As long as you do not let your membership expire, you will remain a Charter Member. If you want a custom title, if you are a regular member, it says Custom Title Member Subscription. The reason it says Custom Title Charter Subscription for you (and other Charter Members) is that the custom title for charter members is displayed differently than the regular member title, since Charter Member is also displayed, so it has to differentiate between the two. See **silenus** ’s and **running coach** ’s titles in this thread for an example. ---

Stupid question from a long time poster who’s too damn lazy to go searching the site for the answer… It’s high time I did my bit to support the board. Does doing so make me a Charter Member or is that assignation come and gone? Not that it will influence my decision in any way. ---
