Excellent link. The important thing (from my perspective) is that the minimum percentage “p” allowed is 10%, and the maximum “N” is 250. This is talking about a pretty small population and a relatively high percentage of people as a starting point. I would have to think that using 1 person as a starting point would alter the figures dramatically. Also, I would imagine that 250 members of the species is extraordinarily low. OTOH, 250 generations is also very low as well. But from running it a bunch of times at .1/250/250 it goes to 0 about half the time - I would think this would increase astronomically if more reasonable numbers would be used.
