# Pseudonyms

I am reading an intrigue-spy-suspense novel called _Scimitar_ by a guy named John Abbott which has a 1992 copyright. **Okay, so I’m a bit behind in my reading, sue me** :p. It’s a pretty good read, but on the dustcover it mentions that the name is a pseudonym for a world-famous author, and there is a silhouetted picture of the guy on the back. The writing is reminiscent of Stuart Woods or Ken Follett, so if I guess who this guy _is_, does the publisher have to tell me if I’m right? Guess I wouldn’t win a prize, though, huh?

John Abbott is a cosmetics mogul on “The Young And The Restless.” At least, last time I checked.
