To the “offended” parties: 1. Be impeccable with your word. 2. Don’t take things personally. 3. Don’t make assumptions. 4. Do the best you can. Now, look at it again from another perspective. It’s not about you…it’s about two notorious posters having a change of heart (for the better). If you’re still clinging on to their past history, then you’re the one with the problem…not them. Let it go. ---

[/QUOTE] There’s a difference between letting it go and joining the current chorus of “Kumbaya.” It is worth pointing out that for at least some of us, the current round of hugs and kisses doesn’t change a damn thing. It was a black eye for the boards and for all the posters involved, and it can’t be smooched better, it can only be mercifully forgotten (again). If that’s some problem of mine, so be it; I _do_ judge people based on their past history. AFIACT some people change their hearts more frequently than they change their underwear. It’s only “for the better” if it’s permanent, you know. ---

I would guess that a simple IP check revealed a clue to the real culpret, but that is just a guess.
