Nothing wild about this child (unless you put her in the same room as Gia 😉 ). She’s a real baby. She’ll climb up on my shoulder and drape herself across for lovins’. I’m going to do everything possible to get her a good home first but if no one takes her in I was thinking more of “keeping” her as an indoor/outdoor cat, basically what we had going on before she got pregnant. ---

I’m kidding! I’m kidding! Jeez, cat lovers are so sensitive! 🙂 Years ago my cat had kittens when I lived in an apartment and during the day I’d let them explore around the second story porch. It had railings but I was scared they might slip through so I put chicken wire across it. Little explorers that they were they’d slowly climb up a couple of inches, all of them alligned at different angles, quivering and mewing for Mom. Ah, it was so darn cute with sprinkles of hilarious thrown in for good measure. I met more neighbors there just because they’d want to stop and talk about cats. I ended up keeping three from that litter. Cute didn’t begin to describe them. ---

We have umpteen stray cats, dogs that have never _heard_ of a leash, possums, and raccoons for her to safely have them outside (IMO). Norman was the first to make a jail break. I had made a sizeable cardboard corral for them to play in that would keep them away from the computer wires and stuff. I was playing Sims 2 while they kept testing the boundaries and trying to climb over. I look down and Little Bit is actually _encouraging_ Norman and trying to help him climb over by pulling on his scruff. That’s when I knew it was time to expand. I corralled in the computer wires and gave them run of the room. My husband and I were playing with them the other day, taking 2 at a time out to play with them on the bed. When we went to put the last ones back in the computer room all five of the buggers just bum-rushed the door. It was a furry mewing tidal wave. 😛 Lawd love 'em. If I leave the door open, they’re brave enough to go two whole feet out before running back to momma. 🙂 ---

[Would you look at this face!](http://www.suzi-quzi.com/Kittens_for_web/peeper_face.html) This is the one my husband is in love with. He’s the one who gave her the name Peepers. Beats what he wanted to name her before I vetoed it: The Face I was calling her Scaredy because when all the other kittens first started coming out of the carrier, sniffing and exploring, she would sit in the back of the carrier meowing her head off like, “OMG Come back! Don’t leave me! Are you guys nuts?” Norman was the one that peed on me while I was holding him so my husband could cut off the excess umbilical cord. WEe took in a stray who had kittens once (well, twice, actually), and when the kittens were old enough we gave them free reign of the living room. They’d clamber up the reclining chair, which could take exactly four kittens before starting to slooooowly recline. The kittens would _freeze_ in panic, as the chair started carrying them downward. ---

Amen to that! I was in a real bad mood last night, so I went and sat in the middle of the floor just watching them play until I was able to laugh again. I love kitten wrestling. No rules, just tumble into a furry ball and start fighting. 😃 ---

Kitties!!! I have a fun trick for new kitties. . . Roll up 4 little circles of scotch tape, sticky side out. (you could use double-sided…) Pick up kitten. Stick little tape loop to the bottom of each foot. Set kitten on floor. The kitten will jump up and try to fling the tape off every foot at once. Then look at you like you’re evil. You can only do this once because they learn quick. ---

Awww, hell, **DeVena** …you don’t have to stop doing the tape trick just because they grow up. You just have to pick a new spot. Any time a find myself with any type of sticker that I’m about to throw out, I always take a few minutes to slap it on the back of one of my cat’s necks first. Always good for 30 seconds of flying feline freakout. 🙂 ---
