PSXer - you claim that you believe that people dislike you because of your appearance. Well I dare say that most if not all of those that know you here and don’t like you, have never seen you. That disdain for you comes from your posting personality, which may or may not be very similar to your real life personality. For some reason you have been allowed to perpetuate thread after thread of your woe is me tales. I don’t know if they are partially real or if you are 100% troll. Because if there is any truth to them, you clearly are one of the most self centered people I’ve come in contact with. But my plan is to just do like many of your supposed friends in the real world, and just ignore you. ---

Plus, they match up so well with another type of poster here, those to whom arguing is an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Ah, I’m glad to see this thread again - [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=609008) is pissing me off. You can’t spend your time here trolling us, telling us you’re trolling us, telling us that you’re amused by our reactions when you troll us, then start up what you pretend is a heartfelt plea for advice on getting your shit together and expect us to just forget everything you’ve posted before. People here will bend over backwards trying to help someone who genuinely needs and wants help, but we’re not here just to dance for your amusement. ETA: Sorry, **Boyo Jim** - kinda stepped on your point there. Well, MOST of us aren’t here to dance for your amusement. 🙂 ---

What is the mental disorder that is diagnosed by seeing if, by the end of the session, the therapist hates your guts? The non-clinical term is “chronic whiner”, but but I don’t know what they call it in the DSM-IV. Regards, Shodan ---

I remember on some TV show a person was diagnosed with “Obnoxious Personality Syndrome”. She was ecstatic with the diagnosis because it meant she was sick and it wasn’t her fault. ---
