Psych. Patients and the moon....

Was discussing with a colleague the other day how a number of people with Psych. disorders often go haywire during a full moon and/or the days leading up to the event.

The question asked was;

***Would it be plausible, that due to the body being approximately 70% water/fluid medium and that because it has been found that the moon has some control over tidal movements, that this is part of/the reason that these patients go haywire??

could there be some physiological reason for the movement of water in the body in relation to phases of the moon and psychosis?? ** *

anyone with thoughts on this one?

I think you’ll find the reason for the patient’s erratic behavior is all in their heads.
