# Psychic experiences

I had to dig this thread back up because of what happened to me this weekend.

I had just arrived at a small, new, local drinking establishment. I was standing at the bar waiting for a drink and enjoying the Jill Scott song playing on the **bartender controlled CD player**. I thought to myself, “Wow. This is a pretty cool bar. But if I owned the place I could turn it into a really sweet club. All it would take would be a little change in the style of music they played. The next song _I_ would play would be…” And I thought of only one song. A song that’s off of a newly released CD, but that is not played on the radio **AT ALL** right now.

My next thought was, “If they played it, it would be just like that thread I was reading on the SDMB.” The bartender inserted a CD and played the exact song I was thinking about. I had to sit there for a good minute before I realized it was actually happening. It really spooked me.

And just to clarify: It was a one-disc CD player - no fading one song into the next. Crazy.
