I checked the scores – we were credited with 40 points, which put us squarely in the middle of the pack. I liked the quiz, thought the food was fine but unexciting, and hated the pacing. I’d go back, but wouldn’t make it my regular spot even if we were looking for something like that. ---

Hey guys, **picnurse** tipped me off to this thread. I’m moving to Seattle in early September, and I’m flying up to scout apartments and stuff the week of the 21st. If you guys are meeting for pub trivia that week, I’d love to join you! Could someone hook me up with the where and when? Oh, I’ll also be bringing a friend. He’s not a Doper, but he’s an okay guy otherwise. 😃 ---

Just FYI, I’m hosting at the Old Pequliar on the 21st. So either take that as encouragement to play or a big flashing warning sign. I’ll be at the OP tomorrow night, too, helping out David, who’s shooting for a harder quiz this week. ---

Darn server. I guess the quote "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas applies to my StraightDope replies. It was super clever. One jet lagged intranational traveller will be there, in body. Hopefully the questions will be things like: “Name three different slot machines.”, or “What did you have to drink five minutes ago?” I’m money for those. ---

My impression is that the parking isn’t too bad, but since I don’t have a car and travel by bus, I’ll let the car-owners chime in on that. We like to sit near the stage, and I’ll bring a tent sign for the table. It’ll say “SDMB Trivia Team”. The action starts at 8, but you can come earlier if you want food or to socialize a bit. I often get there before 7. Check the thread on Tuesday if you get the chance. ---
