I’ll be there tomorrow, but I may be late. I’ve been trying to get together with a friend for a few weeks now, and tomorrow at 7 may be the only time that works. On the plus side, if I’m late, I will bring cupcakes with me. 🙂 ---

_ **Crap** _ with a capital _ **C** _. Yeah, sure, no surprise to _you_ guys, but I can’t make it. But me, I planned for this since getting shafted by my co-worker last week! I was dressed, had my sneakers on, ready to get going, my husband was going to take me for a little drive first then drop me off and it happens - a phone call. My husband’s best friend (and my good friend, started out by default but he turned out to be a great guy) just broke up with his long-time girlfriend. Damnit. I really liked her, too. Of course, I wasn’t the one in a relationship with her, so what say do I have? Looks like we’ve got some shoulder-to-cry on duty tonight. Take him out and let him talk. Poor guy. ☹ ---

Fifth, I think. There was a tiebreaker for third at the end which means another team wound up in fourth. I remember this because the fourth-place team was represented by a friend of mine I haven’t seen in a while who will apparently now be showing up regularly. One of our teams was in the mid-game tiebreaker for the pitcher. And yes, **stargazer** , very nice cupcakes. The frosting-topped pastries were also excellent. ---
