**Congrats!** Decisive victory even without extra “mmm, tasty pie” points. Question for **Saltire** : What did physical chemist Gilbert Lewis call the time it takes for light to travel one centimeter? If you know the answer to that one, you would have been the only person at the bar that did. ---

Nice! Sorry not to see you last night, but even iron men need their rest. Proposal on the table: Since there’s no trivia at the OP next week (Halloween), let’s do the quiz at Kate’s Pub on Monday. I’m up for it, and I think **stargazer** and **inkysplotchy** are probables. **Cervaise** is a maybe. If not Kate’s, I’d say let’s find a Wednesday quiz to try. ---

I think I can make it Monday. Yes, the food there is pretty good. I’ve only been there once and liked what I got. The rest of the menu looked great, and there were plenty of choices (not one of those 10-item bar menus). ---

I’ve accepted a part in a play, so I am out for Monday, and thereafter will be only erratically available until the middle of December. I think I’ll be able to make a couple of nights here and there but it’ll be sporadic. Have fun on Monday, y’all. ---
