We had 122, and I believe there were two teams with 111. Kate gave each of them a pitcher of beer rather than let Billy ask a tiebreaker round, because the quiz took a lot of time. (That “cryptic clue” bit at the end is fun, but completely impractical with 12 teams like they had last night.) ---

Solo quizzing: less discussion, less fun in general. If it would have been at George and el Dragon, I probably would have left. As is, the quiz clipped along fast enough to have something to do. It would have been better for my ego if I wasn’t correcting the team that won’s answer sheet. As is, I represented (the street way) our Movie Knowledge. I got 8, they got 7, and were very impressed. Made up for the Seattle geography round where I got 1…I think I got the “what city do you live in?” question wrong. ---
