There are a lot more self-published works these days, also.

If I am completely immersed in a story and I stumble over blatant errors, the bubble is popped. I try to keep reading, but I never return to the fuu immersion into the story.

I’m waiting for another error.

I have gigantic peeves, too! Don’t ever use “alright.” It’s not a word. Ever. Understand what a prepositional phrase is, and know the difference between the objective and the subjective. Anyone who says “between you and I” needs to be shot.

Bad technical stuff curdles my blood. Somebody using radio communication will never, ever say “over and out.”

The publishing industry desperately needs editors!

I have one now. “Frame” to describe a body. “The gown was draped upon her narrow frame”. “I lied beside my husband and careessed his muscular frame”. “I felt my frame tighten.”
