I liked this film a great deal back in '94. The couple times I’ve seen it since then, it has not held up as well, but it is full of fun dialogue, I’ll grant you that.

Me too. After the fiasco of forgetting his grandfther’s watch, Butch probably wished he had taken the cab driver with him. That was my take on it anyway.

Oddly enough, I just rewatched it last night. You might want to pop over to the "Tarantino a “sick fuck?” thread currently also residing [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=292915), if you want to contribute your thoughts.
My one problem with this movie is Tarantino as Jimmie. He’s JUST not a good actor, and it detracts from that scene, IMO.

While I agree with you (which is also a reason preventing me from watching _Destingy Turns on the Radio_, that and I hate Dylan McDermott), QT does have one of the best exchanges in the whole movie (paraphrased):
"No, let me ask you a question. When you came pulling in here, did you see a sign out in front of my house that said “Dead Nigger Storage?”
[no]
“Cause it ain’t there, 'cause storing dead niggers ain’t my fucking business, that’s why!”
And, in terms of comedic timing with the best use of a prop, I offer this:
Pumpkin: Which one is your wallet?
Jules: It’s the one that says “Bad Motherfucker”
[Shows wallet with Bad Motherfucker on it]
Ever see it on Bravo? Doesn’t quite stand up with all the editing…

My favorite bit of trivia is that Mace Windu’s lightsabre has BMF engraved on the handle.
Phoenix has a GM proving ground nearby so I’ve seen disguised vehicles once in a while. Once on the street I saw an SUV that was covered in black naugahyde. I don’t mean like a padded roof I mean like a car bra that covered every square inch of sheet metal. Nothing but black faux leather and zippers with only windows and lights exposed. The Gimpmobile.
“I don’t know if it’s worth five dollars but that’s one pretty good fuckin’ milkshake.” The waitresses at 5 and Diner hate that one.
