# Punch bowl suggestions

When I was a lad there were only three times a year that the punch bowl _might_ get used (no guarantee. Punch bowl consequently has dubious shelf space value in our abode): Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. We typically host T-Day and ever since childhood the punch recipe is this: 50% cranberry juice 50% ginger ale. Period. We’re hosting T-day at someone else’s house this year and I would like to do something a little different. We have two punch bowls available and I would like to prepare one bowl featuring an alcoholic recipe and the other bowl with a non-alc recipe.

Suggestions for your favorite traditional punch recipes will now be entertained.
