I suggest the Alabama State Senate install a timeout room. Things are so much more civilized over here in Jawja. Our state senators just pout at each other. 😛 ---

Really, considering all the anger and spite that’s flown around in the federal and state Senates (sp?) since John Hancock put down his John Hancock, it’s surprising that physical assault has only happened twice. ---

I just wish they’d settle it like [traditional family values style](http://www.historycooperative.org/journals/jah/87.3/images/mr_2_f1.jpg). That’d be cool (and I have a set of dueling pistols if they need them- one needs a trigger spring but give it a hairtrigger and that’s part of the random fun). The main irritation I have is Bishop’s posturing. “Where I come from calling somebody a sunvabitch is insulting my mama.” Bishy, baby, boobeleh, I’ve lived in rural Alabama half my life and the Deep South all my life and “son of a bitch” is not about your mama and you know it. I’ve called my brother a bastard even though I know our parents were married and I’ve called my sister a bitch and it has nothing to do with her 8 nipples. Saying “Your mama’s a bitch” is about your mama, saying “you’re a son of a bitch” is saying “you’re a son of a bitch”. Now that said, I think throwing a punch might be warranted, but say what you mean: “Call me a sumbitch and I’m gonna hit you like an old girl”. Though I have to admit- I think it’s kind of cool. Always nice to see an asshole (by which I’m not saying he’s an anus, Bishop) get hit. ---
