The Riddler from Batman, Edward Nigma, or E. Nigma. Wile E. Coyote, of course, and I saw a cartoon with his father, Cage E. Coyote. ---

Before the Arthur Curry identity was established, Aquaman used the alias “C. King” at least once. In the Batman TV show, the mayor of Gotham was Mayor Linseed and the governor of the state was Governor Stonefellow. At the time, NYC’s mayor was John Lindsay and the state governor was Nelson Rockefeller. ---

One of my favorites, because it is such an ordinary, believable name that it takes a moment for the joke to sink in, is Detective Tanner in _Angie Tribeca._ (He’s black, of course.) ---
