Is it me, or is this year’s Puppy Bowl on the Travel Channel much rowdier?
If I were looking to adopt one of the players, I don’t think I’d opt for that scruffy little terrier whosis - a white Westy, perhaps? He looks like hell on wheels. He’s been chasing and wrestling with all challengers nonstop for a long time. Tires me out just to watch him!

Definitely rowdier, compared to last year. I wonder if they put something in that water bowl.

Puppy Bowl!!!
My favorite was the little brown puppy, who kept trying to play with the gigantic malamute. So cute. The puppy who kept digging in the water bowl was adorable, they must’ve had to refill it twice because she decided the water belonged on the field, not the bowl.
Pardon me for a second, I need review the events this Puppy Bowl.

Every time they show that water bowl from underneath I totally crack up. EVERY time.
I wish they had a Kitten Bowl. This would work best though with a person involved, to lie on the floor for the kittens to use as a mountain. I volunteer, if they are looking.

The puppy bowl features the Bissel Kitty Halftime Show, with a stage, twirling colored lights, kitty toys, kitties playing with toys, kitties wrestling, kitties hiding from other kitties, kitties ambushing other kitties, and a finale featuring kitties and lots of confetti.

I watched the entire Puppy Bowl yesterday. It’s mesmerizing. We don’t have any pets, so I have to get my "aww"s vicariously.

The colored, swirling lights were a mistake. A white cat on a red carpet is cute, but shine an orange light on it and it all just looks orange.
This was predicted 15 years ago, by the way, on _Dinosaurs_. Earl becomes a network executive and has a big hit with his new show _Box of Puppies_.

I think the swirling lights may have freaked the kitties out enough that they weren’t as playful as they should have been. Next year, they should lose the lights and bring on the catnip!
