I prefer the Puppy Bowl to at least half of what’s on television at any given time.
It’s certainly better than the Super Bowl.

I’ve been too let down by the Kitty Halftime Show. They are simply going through the motions, batting at a kitty tease stick here, sniffing a tail there. Maybe signing up some white mice in the big dance number might perk them up.

The pigs didn’t do anything for me. Actually, they didn’t do anything. Nothing against pigs, but just milling around isn’t pig action. I wanted to see porcine choreography.
And yes, excessive pit bullage. Again, nothing against pit bulls, and I’m all for it if they get adopted, but from a viewer’s standpoint it was hard to tell them apart. I would have liked to see a wider variety. The bird tweeting was genius.
I wanted Aberdeen to win Most Valuable Puppy.

We weren’t sure whether the “piggy pep squad” would be regular pigs or guinea pigs. Just as well they went with regular pigs, I guess - less chance of being eaten by the players or the halftime show.

I think the Kitty Halftime show stresses out the kitties. Too much going on, especially once they start the confetti drop. The kittens seems to pretty much stop what they were doing and hide or freeze.

Celtling stood up and cheered when the Buddies showed up. Watching her watch this was more then worth missing the Superbowl!
Also, what was with the franken-hamsters in the blimp? why didn’t their heads amtch their bodies?!? :eek:

I agree. I think they’d do well to let the kittens play on the set for a couple days, and edit it down to the best bits. (Use lots of close-ups so viewers don’t get wise.)
Unless people think that would somehow impugn the integrity of Puppy Bowl.

They were better this year. Some years, the whole show was just kitties staring at all the turmoil.

At least 4 of the dogs are part chihauha. :vomit:
I don’t think I saw any hounds, an outrage that should top the New York Times investigatory reporters agendas. I mean, what is cuter than basset hound puppies?
