Link to pix: [Belinda’s litter at three weeks old](http://www.flickr.com/photos/60141434@N07/sets/72157627963562456/). ## There are two pix each of the seven pups. I had named them, but Belinda’s co-rescuer nixed the names as “too serious”. So, I have to find the names of three male and four female fictional characters that are popular with small children. Any suggestions? Thanks! Previous thread: [We have puppies! You need one, right?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=626849) ---

Aw! Belinda is a sweetie pie! Maybe name the puppies after the seven dwarfs since there are seven of them? ---

Well… they’re boxer puppies, right? So they should be named after boxers. I still like Male #1, so if I end up adopting him, his name will be Leon Spinks. (There’s also an American Bulldog with a local rescue group who’s caught my eye and is a candidate for integration into the Zilla pack.) Boy dogs: (Joe) Frazier (Mike) Tyson Leon (Spinks) Girl dogs: Ali Sugar (Ray) Laila (Muhammed Ali’s daughter) Kiki (there’s a female boxer named “Hurricane Kiki” which seems like a great name for a puppy) Other Names of Boxers that might work well for dogs: Rocky (Marciano) Sonny (Liston) Evander (Holyfield) Lennox (Lewis) Floyd (Patterson) ---

Some candidate dog names that are, in my opinion, underused: Nardo Budget Widget Stumpy Lumpy Frigate Bunker Furball Flapper ---
