This counts as silliness, and pretty random: we were driving through Oklahoma last summer, through the panhandle and down toward Louisiana, almost entirely on the two-lane highways. One thing that caught my attention was that every now and then, a side road would have a modest green sign, only a little larger than a street sign, announcing “cemetary-\>”. Why would one need to know that there was some cemetary a ways up this little road? If you had dead relatives, I should think you would know or be able to find out where their bones are. I had to conclude that it must mean everyone in Oklahoma is related to everyone else in Oklahoma, so if there is a cemetary up here, you should go up and pay your respects to whomever is buried in it because they are probably family. ---

My Friday the 13th was uneventful until 11:20 pm, when we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere near Olalla. We spent an hour and a half tracking down the correct address and winding our way to a spot that was only 15 minutes from where we originally started. I will admit it was nice watching the full moon from every possible angle. ---
