The Spokesman Review has a reporter that does some great investigative reporting. He dug into the firing of the IGs and in partiular, the one over the VA. The massive new VA electronic medical record system has been a complete shit-show boondoggle. The Spokane VA hospital was the guinea pig and it didn’t go well. IG Missal sounded the alarm and he is now fired. BTW, the new EMR system, costing $10B was awarded by Trump, with no bidding, to his buddy and donor Larry Ellison. Coincidence? Nope. Also, the article talks about the two cabinet level IGs that weren’t fired. One was mean to Comey so Trump likes him.
