Of course it was. The hotel staff couldn’t unstick their hands from their hips. Can you imagine trying to change bedsheets using only your elbows?

To answer your first question:

Postnominal adjective: An adjective that follows the noun.

Prenominal adjective: An adjective that precedes the noun.
