In consideration of my Plane of Existence (United Bureaucrats of Academia) , I am pretty much _never_ the smartest person in the room. But I am _always_ the one they refer to when they want to a translation of a slang or obscene phrase. I was not permitted to enter Canada. I am enamored of the Eisenhower (sp?) Interstate System and have an almost biological need to make n road-trips per year. I like it best when the destination is something really vague, like ‘Over There.’ I’ve done more drugs than almost anyone I know, and yet I’m still toilet-trained. I can clap with my feet. Much to my disgust, I have disproved the theory that “you can’t pick your friend’s nose.” I once gave a friend my car. (Yes, there’s a story behind this and no, I don’t have one for you.) Quote from my best friend: “You always have something nice to say about everyone, and I’m sick of it.” I can answer the “Put your modesty away” thread without using any numbers. * * * Life is short. Make fun of it. ---

I am an excellent driver. I have never had an accident or ticket, and I have driven over 400,000 miles ( half in an eighteen wheeler ) in the US, Canada, and Mexico. I have been in every state except Alaska and Hawaii, and drove to every one ( mostly in the truck ). I love to sew, and can make nearly anything without a pattern or outside instruction. I am not the smartest cookie on the block, but I love learning about anything at all, and learn very quickly. I am a loyal wife and a loving mother. And I guess this goes without saying - I love to travel, I will drive anywhere by myself, and I have never been lost - all I need is a good map! ---

Oh heck, the thread may be old, but any chance to talk about myself (kidding) I am 6’9". I have been able to dunk since 8th grade and can do so on a rim that is 12" off the ground Everyone I know says that personality-wise (maybe without all of the relationship neuroses) I am exacly like Chandler Bing on Friends. I am pretty dang good at Trivial Pursuit and Jeopardy, but I know I am not the best. However, no one can match me when it comes to the Sports categories. I got a B once in my life, from a gym teacher who got hacked off because I beat him at one on one in 7th grade. I played college basketball in the ACC. I am 24, married to the love of my life (who happens to be 6’1"), and gearing up for retirement around the age of 40. I read the encyclopedia when I was 15. ## Yay me. Yes, the weather is the same up here. Yes, I play basketball. No, never heard a tall joke before. Aaaargh. ---
