I think a Romney election would be much worse for the country. I believe that very strongly and stand by that assessment, because it is based on reason and knowledge of the issues. That doesn’t mean that the universe wants Obama to win. Or that he must win, because he is the superior candidate. Especially since Romney is willing to lie and misrepresent himself in order to get votes. Elections measure popularity, not divine rightness to lead. ---

I predicted Romney will win over 300 EV. I will donate 100 dollars to the favorite charity of the person who bets against me and if I win said person will donate 100 dollars to my charity. Since there are billions of Dopers betting against me somebody figure out a quick raffle thing. ---

I predicted Romney winning over 300 EV. easy to find. I will donate a hundred bucks to the favorite charity of a doper who bets he receives less. If i win said person donates a hundred bucks to my favorite charity. One of our stats people can run a raffle so to speak. millions of you submit your name and they decide who i bet with. I’ll say this - that’s a pretty bold wager. I just did some checking. To get 301 electoral votes, Romney would need to take every state where he now has a clear lead, plus Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin. It would be the most amazing upset in election history. ---
