Really. It’s a stretch. Russia would love to be doing as well as Rowling. He comes off like an out-of-touch self-identifed elder statesman trying to appeal to the Gen Y crowd and failing badly, given even ‘Sleepy’ Joe Biden a run for his money. I can’t wait for the John Oliver take on this. Stranger ---

Proving that “Cancel Culture” can indeed be a very good thing. Cancelling Putin is a good thing. Oh, and for what it is worth, the US should have been called out for the War in Iraq. Desert Storm we wore a somewhat oil stained white hat. The second one was an illegitimate intervention that also distracted us from a difficult mission in Afghanistan. The Iraq War was also based on baseless lies. Cheney and Neo-Cons perfidy. ---

Speaking of Rowling, the two most recent books in the Strike series, _Lethal White_ and _Troubled Blood_, are the best novels in her writing career, imo. ---

This is so pathetic it’s making me laugh out loud. Vlad _really_ thought he had co-opted enough of the Republican Party with his “Ukraine is a land of corrupt Democrats that are helping Hillary and Biden steal your freedoms” schtick that he would have significant support in the US for his new adventure. I didn’t happen that way, and now, after a year of dodging Trump’s phone calls, he’s trying to call Donald and not getting through. So now he’s tweeting right wing memes on a futile effort to grab some US support. Vlad, everyone knows that everything Trump touches dies. And you are not immune. ---
