I was surfing around & came across an argument about Gulf War Vets’ Syndrome. Specifically, is there any hard medical evidence that depleted uranium munitions have anything to do with it? I’ve looked around on my own, & none of the sites I’ve seen have much more than quotes from doctors to the effect that cancer & birth defect rates have increased in Gulf War Vets & the Iraqi civilian population since the war–but if there is actual medical evidence as to what is causing these illnesses, noone is saying.
What’s the deal?😕

You might want to look at the [FAS](http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/du.htm) page on it. Some of those links might be what you’re looking for.
