This is my road ride (mine is an earlier model not an 05) I have put a couple of thousand miles on it weighing up to 275. (I am down to 200 from riding, yea me!) I have yet to break a spoke. Not one. I just had the bike in for a tune up and the wheels were just the tiniest bit out of true after about 1 year since my last checkup.
My only suggestion is to watch out for that Murphy guy he can be a real son of a bitch.
