I read an older version of this book (circa 1995). I understand the newer versions explain why not to expect to find a job via Internet job sites (i.e. Monster). Does anyone know what the logic behind this is? I WAG that so many posts are from head-hunters just looking to fatten their dossier of candidates’ resumes. (Or, is it because it works against sales of this book???)

Does anyone know what the author’s explanation is?

Why not read [the online answer](http://www.jobhuntersbible.com/jobs/fgmjobs.shtml) from the author?
