If you’re still in contact with him, **TubaDiva** , please do try to convince him to stay. He’s a good bloke, as I’ve said before. Been a strirling friend to me, and others. I’m not going to add to the blizzard of emails that’s made him feel so uncomfortable, on top of whatever-the-heck is really going on – but he should not feel he has to leave, no matter how embarrassed you feel, and how he may feel that somehow he \* has\* done wrong. That’s balderdash. He’s done nothing wrong – just been himself. ---

In my fantasies of the mods, and they’re legion of course, none of you are curmudgeonly at all. For some reason you all look a bit like Harrison Ford or Barbara Billingsley. …here is the whole nasty business, including my reply to **TubaDiva’s** response to my OP. In my defense, I really didn’t think I had done anything wrong, and my head is still spinning from the whole affair. What the?? 😕😕😕 **Quasimodem** shares details of a RL meeting, in very positive terms, with another Doper, receives the inevitable good natured teasing, **and** a nice reply from same Doper. He responds to this as if he’s been mortally and emotionally pounded. 😕 Maybe the thread wasn’t the wisest thing to do if you’re so touchy, but not against the rules and absolutely no reason to take a huff about things. Confusing doesn’t do this justice. ---
