I’m terrible at making lists of favorite things, and also apparently terrible at seeing movies. I have only seen 5 off of Tarantino’s lists. Looking at other “best of” lists online, I haven’t seen the majority of them. Trying to think about it I’m suprised at how many of my legitimate top choices are Asian, and how little is coming to mind of Western films that I enjoy rewatching as often. All of these favorites I’ve watched at the least 3 times each. After that the films become too hard to rank. - _About Schmidt_ (2002) - _Adaptation._ (2002) - _Bowling for Columbine_ (2002) - _Her_ (2013) - _The Incredibles_ (2004) - _Interstellar_ (2014) - _Kiss Kiss Bang Bang_ (2005) - _The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring_ (2001) - _The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King_ (2003) - _The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers_ (2002) - _Memento_ (2001) - _Phantom Thread_ (2017) - _The Pianist_ (2002) - _Poor Things_ (2023) - _Precious_ (2009) - _The Prestige_ (2006) - _There Will Be Blood_ (2007) Looks like Tarantino and I agree only on _There Will Be Blood_. (I do like plenty of the other films in his list, but wouldn’t put them in my top 20.) ---

Almost Famous Amelie Master and Commander Inside Out Mad Max Fury Road (mostly because those were REAL vehicles, not CGI!)
